Use cases / Financial due diligence
Build the databook, map the trial balance, schedule the adjustments and bridge to adjusted EBITDA. When the next extract lands, everything refreshes and nothing has to be rebuilt.
01workstream
Trial balances, general ledger extracts and management accounts land as versioned tables. The messy exports are cleaned once and kept, with the file each came from.

02workstream
Accounts map to your P&L, balance sheet and working-capital schedules through a mapping you own. Your assistant proposes it; you confirm the exceptions. A new trial balance re-runs the mapping, not the analyst.
Financial due diligence
| Account | Schedule | FY24 · €k |
|---|---|---|
| Product revenue | Revenue | 48,210 |
| Services revenue | Revenue | 6,930 |
| Contract staff | Cost of sales · adjusted | (1,240) |
| Legal, one-off | Non-recurring | (610) |
| Rent | Operating costs | (2,050) |
The mapping is kept as data: review it once, re-run it on the next extract.
03workstream
Adjustments as named lines with their reason and their source, in a model connected to the schedules. The bridge from reported to adjusted EBITDA draws itself and stays current.
Business plan analysis
The plan assumes 14% a year. The market grows 5.7%: the plan outruns it.
04workstream
Each finding pinned to the schedule or chart that shows it, with its figure and its caveat. If a later extract moves the number, the finding is flagged before it reaches the report.

Every assumption, audited
Every assumption in a model has an origin: the table it was derived from, the method that derived it, the document the table cites. All of it is on the record, so the question in the room has an answer, and so does the same question a year later.

The deliverable
The deck and the report still come out, in your house style. But the client can also join the workspace as a guest: read the pages, open the models, see every source, and ask the next question through their own assistant, with the data and the reasoning already there. Out as files, too: the report and the databook pack.
