Collections, docs & activity
Folders across every kind, notes agents read, and the record of who did what.
Collections, docs & activity
A workspace that grows needs structure, notes, and a record.
Collections
Collections are folders across every kind of entity. Create one from the sidebar (New collection, inline), nest them, and file the datasets, transformations, spreadsheets, charts and views that belong to one topic. Every entity's About rail has a collection picker; an entity lives in at most one collection. The workspace Overview shows everything as a file tree with the collections as folders, filterable by kind and searchable; each collection page shows the same tree for its contents.
Docs
Every entity has a Docs tab, and the workspace has a README on its Docs tab: the brief, the source map, the conventions. Agents read these before they act, so a good README is the fastest way to make every session start oriented. When the data model changes after the docs were written, the tab shows a marker.
Activity
Activity is the workspace's record of who did what: every import, run, save and insight decision, in order, agents included. Every entry links to the entity it touched.
Finding things
⌘K opens the command palette from anywhere: entities, pages and actions in one box. The Lineage page draws the whole graph; every entity's About rail shows its own neighbours.
Faster with an agent — ask the agent to "write the workspace README: what this project is, where the data comes from, and the conventions." Then every later session, human or agent, starts from it.
